Emission Reductions
Deutsche Bank purchased 130 metric tonnes of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs), which represent CO2-equivalent reductions certified under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). 19.25 of these CERs were procured to offset the greenhouse gas emissions from the Carbon Counter Events at a level of 100%; the remaining 110.75 CERs will be used to offset the climate-related emissions resulting from the first three years of operating the Carbon Counter.
