Offset Sources donated through the Cleaner and Greener Program to offset
the 2004 EnvironDesign8 Conference emissions.
- Invista
will donate year 2004 vintage emission reductions of 3,883 pounds of nitrous
oxide (N2O) emissions resulting from an emissions reduction
project at the Sabine River Works plant in Orange, TX. Using U.S. EPA global
warming potential equivalence factors, this has the same global warming
reduction impact as a reduction of 1.2 million pounds of CO2
emissions.
- Leonardo
Academy donated and retired emission reductions to offset the SO2
emissions caused by this event. Source: U.S. EPA SO2 Allowance
Serial Number 200200199986 purchased by the Cleaner and Greener Program.
- Philips
Lighting North America will donate emission reductions from internal
manufacturing facility energy efficiency projects reported through the
Cleaner and Greener Certification Program.
- Johnson
Controls Inc. will donate emission reductions from internal facility
energy efficiency projects reported through the Cleaner and Greener
Certification Program.

Donations will also continue to be gathered to support emission offsets from
Conference Attendees, Exhibitors, and Sponsors

- Financial donations will be used to buy emission reductions for this
purpose.
- Donations of emission reductions from your energy efficiency actions,
renewable energy, and other emission reduction actions will also be used
for this purpose
