Offset Sources:
- Leonardo Academy donated and retired emission reductions to offset the SO2 emissions
caused by this event. Source: U.S. EPA SO2 Allowance Serial Number
200200199980 purchased by the Cleaner and Greener Program.
- Philips Lighting North America
will donate emission reductions to help offset the
event emissions resulting from energy efficiency actions
implemented at their Bath, NY manufacturing facility.
- Leonardo Academy donated and retired 6 Iowa Energy Tags purchased from Waverly
Light and Power. Each tag represents 2,500 kWh and a savings of 5,300
lbs. of CO2 emissions, along with a host of other greenhouse
gases.
- Johnson Controls Inc.
donated emission reductions from one of
their internal facility energy efficiency projects to help offset the emissions.
