Emission Reduction Donors
DuPont:
Donated for permanent retirement, 3,000 metric tonnes (6.61 million
pounds) CO2 equivalent vintage 2003 greenhouse gas emissions
reductions registered with Environmental Resources Trust, Inc. (ERT),
resulting from HFC-23 emissions reductions at the DuPont Louisville
Works Facility in Kentucky, enough to offset 100 percent of the
carbon dioxide emissions resulting from ASHRAE's 2007 Winter
Meeting.
Individual Offset Donors
The monetary donations listed below was used by Leonardo Academy to purchase and retire
339,080 kWh's of
Sterling Planet
Green-E
certified 100% Wind Energy renewable energy certificates (RECs) to help offset the
emissions of the 2007 ASHRAE Winter Meeting.
