Offset Sources donated through the Cleaner and Greener Program to offset the 2003 CERES Conference emissions.

$2,930 was raised by CERES from conference attendees to purchase and retire green tags to offset the air pollution caused by the conference. These donations were used to retire 1,113 New Wind Energy^TM Renewable Certificates purchased from Community Energy. Each tag represents 100 kWh of wind energy and savings of 110 lbs. of CO₂ emissions, along with a host of other emission types.
Leonardo Academy donated and retired emission reductions to offset the SO2 emissions caused by this event. Source: U.S. EPA SO2 Allowance Serial Number 200200199983 purchased by the Cleaner and Greener Program.
Philips Lighting North America donated emission reductions to offset emissions caused by this event from company manufacturing facility energy efficiency projects with a majority of the reductions from a facility in Bath, NY.
