Offset Sources donated through the Cleaner and Greener Program to offset the
2004 CERES Conference emissions.
- CERES raised $2,630 from conference attendees to purchase and retire green
tags to offset the air pollution caused by the conference. These donations
were used to purchase and retire 200 renewable energy tags from Pristine
Power. Each
tag represents 1 MWh of wind energy.
- Leonardo Academy will donate and retire emission reductions to offset the
SO2 emissions caused by this event. Source: U.S. EPA SO2
Allowance Serial Number 200200199983 purchased by the Cleaner and Greener
Program.
- Philips Lighting
North America donated emission reductions to offset emissions caused by
this event from company manufacturing facility energy efficiency projects
with a majority of the reductions from a facility in Bath, NY.
- Donations will continue to be gathered to support emission
offsets from conference attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.

- Financial donations will be used to buy emission reductions for this
purpose.
- Donations of emission reductions from your energy efficiency actions,
renewable energy, and other emission reduction actions will also be used for
this purpose
