CARE was Cleaner & Greener Certified!
The Carpet America Recovery Effort's Annual Conference in Georgia earned Cleaner and Greener Certification by offsetting the emissions created by event activities. The Cleaner and Greener program calculated the emissions caused by energy use at the event, travel of event organizers and attendees to and from the event, hotel rooms and meals. More Press Release

Leonardo Academy’s Cleaner & Greener / Health & ClimateCare Program helps companies and organizations quantify their emissions footprint, calculate emission reductions from energy efficiency and other emission reduction projects, determine how to reduce the emissions footprint caused by operations and procurement, offset emissions, and certify the level of emission reductions and offsets. Leonardo Academy’s Cleaner and Greener / Health & ClimateCare Program helps event organizers to quantify, reduce and offset emissions caused by events, including emissions from event space energy use as well as participant travel, lodging and meals. Events are certified by Leonardo Academy for their level of emission reductions and offsets.

Cleaner and Greener Certification can help your existing building earn one credit toward Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED^™) status through the U.S. Green Building Council's certification program.
